What are the responsibilities of this position?
As a Data Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for driving the success of a large-scale data platform by taking ownership of key component designs and implementations. You will provide thought leadership in data infrastructure, database design, data governance, and operations to ensure the platform is highly scalable and efficient.
Additionally, you will mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of highly skilled data engineers and drive the implementation of engineering best practices to ensure project success.
What are the requirements for this position?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (Or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying large-scale data platforms.Strong knowledge of data infrastructure, database design, and data governance.
Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to a team of data engineers.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
What is the compensation for the role?
